Business Port Augusta’s Your Business Compass Workshop, in September 2025, brought together businesses across Port Augusta and Port Pirie for a day dedicated to practical strategies in branding, financial management, marketing and leadership. Funded by the Local Buying Foundation under its Business Awards, Conferences and Events category, the workshop was designed to give regional entrepreneurs the tools to thrive in a competitive environment.
The event combined a networking session, a full-day workshop and an evening masterclass delivered by Business Port Augusta. Attendees represented a diverse mix of industries, with strong female participation and Indigenous representation, creating an inclusive space for learning and collaboration.
Feedback highlighted the value of actionable strategies tailored to regional needs and praised the facilitators’ commitment to supporting women in business. Participants left with renewed confidence and expressed interest in future sessions focused on visibility, referral pathways, negotiation and team management.
