Throughout 2025, the Central Highlands Development Corporation delivered an impressive calendar of events designed to boost business capability and create opportunities for collaboration, supported proudly by the Local Buying Foundation. This initiative is a year-long programme focused on confidence-building, strategic planning and celebrating local success stories.

The year began with two comprehensive business planning workshops in February and March, equipping participants with practical tools and strategies for sustainable growth. In May, a working lunch provided a valuable platform for networking and knowledge-sharing among regional business leaders. September marked a major highlight with the Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards, showcasing outstanding achievements and reinforcing the strength of the local business community. To close the year, the Tourism25 working lunch in December explored opportunities to drive tourism and collaboration heading into the new year.

Funded under the Sponsorship category, this initiative reflects LBF’s commitment to supporting projects that deliver measurable benefits for regional businesses and communities. By partnering with CHDC, the Local Buying Foundation has helped create a legacy of capability and connection. As the Local Buying Foundation transitions out of the Central Highlands region at the end of 2025, we celebrate the impact of this partnership and the dedication of CHDC in championing growth and collaboration across the region.
