Running a small business often means balancing customer demands, finances, staffing, compliance and countless competing priorities. While business owners spend much of their time supporting others, they rarely have opportunities to step back, reflect and develop strategies to better manage the pressures that come with leading a business.

To help address this challenge, Business Port Augusta will deliver From Chaos to Control, a practical workshop designed to help business owners regain clarity, confidence and focus. Delivered as a guided session for small business owners, sole traders and operators, the workshop will provide practical tools to improve decision-making, reduce overwhelm and strengthen personal and business resilience.

The Local Buying Foundation is supporting the initiative through its Sponsorship funding category, recognising the importance of investing in the people behind local businesses. Strong businesses rely on confident business owners and initiatives that improve decision making and business capability can have lasting benefits across a regional economy.

Beyond the workshop itself, the project will create opportunities for local business owners to share experiences and strengthen professional networks. By helping participants move from overwhelm to clarity and control, the initiative aims to support a healthier, more resilient business community across Port Augusta and the Upper Spencer Gulf.
