From record-breaking luncheons to packed networking breakfasts, Business Singleton is proving that collaboration is transforming the Singleton region. Supported by the Local Buying Foundation, this initiative, running from January 2025 to December 2026, continues to deliver tangible outcomes that strengthen local enterprises and build capability across the community. The July 2025 reporting highlights impressive engagement, with bi-monthly business breakfasts drawing around 50 participants and Coffee Connections sessions creating a dynamic space for members to share programmes and initiatives. Signature events such as the International Women’s Day luncheon attracted a record 160 attendees, while the Men’s Health Breakfast and Singleton Business Awards showcased the vibrancy of the local business community.

Looking ahead, the program is set to maintain momentum with the Industry and Infrastructure Luncheon and targeted workshops on grant writing, AI in business and cyber security. Falling under the Micro-business and SME capacity building category, this project reflects the Local Buying Foundation’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration and sustainable growth across the Singleton LGA and beyond.

The Local Buying Foundation is proud to announce significant strides in fostering a connected business community in Singleton. Over the past year, Business Singleton has achieved a remarkable 10% growth in their membership base, reflecting the increasing interest and engagement from local businesses. Additionally, corporate sponsorship has seen a 10% increase, enabling them to support more initiatives and events.

Business Singleton were able to revise and publish a comprehensive Membership Pack, designed to provide their members with valuable resources and information. This pack aims to enhance the benefits of membership and support the growth and development of local businesses.

Engagement with Small and Medium Enterprises has been a key focus, ensuring that these vital contributors to the economy receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive. Facilitating connections and networking with other relevant agencies and opportunities has been a key strategic goal to foster collaboration and growth within the business community.

Furthermore, Business Singleton have been working closely with stakeholders in Scone and Singleton to promote and deliver initiatives that benefit the entire region. By leveraging these partnerships, they have created a more cohesive and supportive business environment.

To develop, grow and deliver business-related activities and programs to support the Singleton LGA, Business Singleton have implemented events into their calendar such as
