The Local Buying Foundation is proud to support two key initiatives that will enhance the Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s ability to deliver high-quality services and programs for the Upper Hunter business community.

The first initiative, the Building Capacity Admin Role, introduces a part-time administrative assistant to strengthen MCCI’s operational delivery. This role will provide essential support for day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and transparency across Chamber activities. The August kick-off meeting set the tone for a collaborative approach, aligning the Chamber’s priorities with the Foundation’s strategic goals and reinforcing a commitment to structured reporting and progress meetings.

In parallel, the continuation of the Member Services Manager role commenced on 1 October 2025. This position is critical for delivering flagship programs such as the Muswellbrook Business Awards, monthly Chamber breakfasts, and a range of workshops and cross-regional initiatives. By maintaining strong community engagement, the MSM role helps drive business development across Muswellbrook, Scone and Singleton, building partnerships that amplify business capacity and create opportunities for growth.

Together, these initiatives represent a strategic investment in the long-term sustainability of the Chamber and the broader business community. By reinforcing both administrative and program delivery capacity, the Local Buying Foundation is enabling MCCI to respond to local needs with greater agility and impact. This approach strengthens MCCI’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services, supports events that engage the local business community, and aligns with the Local Buying Foundation’s mission to empower local chambers and drive sustainable impact across the region.
