Local businesses across the Upper Hunter will have the opportunity to connect with new customers, showcase their products and services and raise the profile of the region through the 2026 Upper Hunter Showcase. Delivered by the Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event will be held alongside the Going Country festival on 17 October 2026 and is expected to attract around 700 visitors.
Designed to support small and micro businesses, the Showcase will bring together local producers, retailers, tourism operators and service providers in one place, connecting them directly with an engaged visitor audience. Free exhibitor participation will remove a financial barrier for businesses and create opportunities to generate enquiries, build customer relationships and encourage visitors to return to the region.
The project aligns with the Local Buying Foundation’s purpose by strengthening business capability and economic participation in regional communities. By helping local businesses increase their visibility, reach new customers and benefit from visitor activity, the Showcase will support a stronger and more resilient Upper Hunter business community.
