In the first Queensland funding round of 2024, which closed in February, the Local Buying Foundation approved funding for the Central Highlands Development Corporation (CHDC) 2024 Event and Workshop Serie  under the Sponsorship of Business Awards, Conferences, & Events category.

This workshop series aims to empower local businesses by enhancing their capabilities through targeted initiatives. Programs include the Workforce Development Working Lunch, Small Business Month Luncheon, Major Projects Working Lunch/Dinner, Regional Transformation Working Lunch, and Tourism & Events Networking Opportunities. The series also features AgTeCH24, focusing on cutting-edge advancements in agricultural technology.

By fostering business growth and innovation, these events and workshop aim to build thriving and empowered communities. It provides vital resources for local entrepreneurs, workers, and business leaders, ensuring they can tackle challenges and seize opportunities that drive regional prosperity. Through these efforts, the Central Highlands community can continue to grow, innovate, and sustain long-term success.
