The 2025 Upper Hunter Showcase, an event organised by the Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has once again been approved for funding. Scheduled for 6 September, the Showcase will take place in Muswellbrook and is designed to promote local businesses to a broader audience, with the aim of increasing visitation and spending across the region.

This event builds on the success of previous Showcases, which have demonstrated the value of creating a dedicated platform for regional businesses to connect with new customers and collaborators. Past events have helped raise the profile of local enterprises, encouraged community engagement and supported the growth of the local economy. The Showcase model has proven effective in drawing attention to the diversity and capability of businesses in the Upper Hunter, and the 2025 edition is expected to continue that momentum.

LBF’s decision to fund the event was based on a clear alignment with its Sponsorship Guidelines. The Foundation recognised MCCI’s experience in delivering similar events and its capacity to manage the Showcase effectively. The event is open to all businesses in the region, ensuring inclusive access and broad benefit.

The Showcase offers a unique opportunity for local businesses to present their products and services to a captive audience. This exposure can lead to increased foot traffic, stronger customer relationships and new commercial opportunities. For the Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter communities, the event promises not only economic uplift but also a celebration of local enterprise and innovation.

By supporting the Upper Hunter Showcase, LBF continues its commitment to strengthening regional economies and empowering local businesses to thrive. The Foundation’s funding will help ensure the event delivers meaningful outcomes for participants and the wider community
